[More volumes to be published] Description of about 2800 Sanskrit, 21 Tamil, 2 Telugu and 1- Manipraval mss. on Saiva agama with extracts and notes. Appendix: Alphabetical list of the Mūlagamas and Upagamas. Author, title indices. Preface highlights the importance of Saiva agama and also contains a bibliography on Śaiva agama (V.I, p. viii-x). Institute has collected about 12000 palm-leaf mss. on Saiva agamas mostly in Grantha script, some in Malayalam, Telugu, Nandinagari and Tulu scripts and also made 1093 transcripts of the agama mss. available in other libraries.
